DC Comics Trading Card Game - Preview

Scheduled for release in July 2004, the DC Comics Trading Card Game will put players in command of characters like Batman, Superman, The Joker, and Catwoman. The game will be published by Upper Deck Entertainment.
Each card will contain all original artwork by many of the biggest names in the comic book industry.
Each starter set will include two 40-card decks with everything that players will need to begin playing the game. Also available will be 14-card booster packs.
The DC Comics TCG was designed specifically to support multiplayer play, complimenting the traditional one-on-one competition format. According to a press release, development of the game included testing by top professional TCG players around the world to ensure the game is carefully balanced for high-level competition as well as casual play.
