Neopets Trading Card Game

The new Neopets Trading Card Game, published by Wizards of the Coast, is now available. The $9.99 starter game comes with two 30-card decks, a playmat, rules, six-sided dice, and one eight-card booster pack.

The goal of the game is to have your Neopets win contests in strength, agility, magic and intelligence. When they win a contest, you can put an item or equipment card in your bank. Put 21 points of items and equipment in your bank and you win the game.

"Neopets.com is the Internet's largest and fastest-growing youth community and one of the most popular websites of any kind in the world," said Christopher Erb, brand manager at Wizards of the Coast for the Neopets TCG, in a press release. "The huge array of Neopets characters and species lend themselves extremely well to a trading card game. Our goal with the Neopets TCG is to transform the wildly popular Neopets online activities into an entertaining offline game."

Neopets.com, consistently ranks among the top 10 "stickiest" sites on the Web by Nielsen/NetRatings and generates more than 2.5 billion page views per month. The site allows visitors to create and take care of virtual pets.
