Many people in the eastern United States spent extra time recently playing board games and card games as Hurricane Isabel knocked out electrical power for millions of households. But in Turkey, one man recently took his love of board games to a fatal extreme.
According to an article on the web site IOL.co.za, Harun Cetinkaya, 39, was stung by a bee while playing the Turkish game Okey with friends at a coffee house.
Cetinkaya knew he was allergic to bee stings but continued to play "until his condition grew so bad that his friends took him to a local hospital. The father of four was pronounced dead upon arrival."
