Creepy Freaks Ready for Release

Creepy Freaks, a new game from WizKids that features characters like Frosty the Snotman, Spitty Cat, and SkeleHomie, will debut this weekend across the United States.

The WizKids web site has a list of official preview events taking place from Alaska to Wisconsin.

The game is described this way by WizKids: "When a group of kids sneak into an abandoned school, they stumble upon the nastiest, grossest, and most repulsive group of monsters they've ever seen, the Creepy Freaks! These disgusting creatures are fighting to find out who is the creepiest of the Creepy Freaks, and they want the kids to lead them into battle."

Several of the characters can be seen online, including Spitty Cat, Patches, Eyesore, and Serpentina.

Thre will be 56 characters in all. Starter sets will include four figures and everything needed to play for about $13. Two-figure Creepy Freaks booster packs will sell for about $5.

Creepy Freaks is designed for players ages 6 to 12.
