In Big Top, an upcoming card game from APE Games, players will meet various circus acts, including a sword swallower, the bearded lady, trapeze artists and clowns.
Big Top is for 3 to 6 players, and takes about 60 minutes to play. According to the APE Games web site, "Big Top, which was inspired by the classic card game Fan Tan, is a quick and easy-to-learn card game in which players take the role of aspiring circus owners. The winner of the game will be the player who invests in the most popular circus acts and earns the most money by helping his fellow players when they call for certain circus acts to be played."
The game, scheduled for publication in November 2003, was designed by Ray Mulford. The gorgeous artwork was designed by Alessandra Cimatoribus, who also worked on the board game San Marco.
