Hasbro Names New Head of U.S. Games Division

Sunday July 13, 2003
Hasbro announced recently that Frank Bifulco has joined the organization as President of its U.S. Games Unit. According to a Hasbro press release, Bifulco will have day-to-day responsibility for the company's Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers lines, including manufacturing operations. He will report to E. David Wilson, President of the Hasbro Games Segment, who will continue to oversee Hasbro's games business, including MB, PB, and Wizards of the Coast.

"Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers have a long tradition of providing families with high quality and exciting entertainment," Wilson said in a press release. "We are looking forward to Frank building on that proud heritage."

"Frank Bifulco is a skilled business leader with more than 20 years of experience working at global companies," said Al Verrecchia, Hasbro's CEO, in the same release. "His expertise will be a tremendous asset as we look to grow our games business and increase shareholder value."

Bifulco joined Hasbro from the Timberland Company, a footwear and apparel company, where he served as senior vice-president and chief marketing officer. He was responsible for setting business strategy and directing brand building and consumer and customer marketing efforts globally.

Prior to that, Bifulco was senior vice-president of sales and chief marketing officer for ICG Commerce. He also served as senior vice-president of marketing for Coca-Cola North America. His marketing career began at Procter & Gamble. Bifulco is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He holds an MA in business management from Central Michigan University and an MS in engineering science from Cornell University.
